Hey [FIRST NAME],
Do you ever get envious of the picture perfect mamas you come across during an innocent Instagram scroll?
There you are, lounging on the couch in your yoga pants and sweatshirt, minding your own business. Your half clothed children are crawling over and underneath you while they slowly graze from the plate of chicken nuggets in your lap and dip each other’s hair in the ketchup.
All you want is a measly five minutes to numb out and scroll the ‘gram, but out of nowhere, like a ton of bricks, there she is. Head to toe dressed to the nines. Makeup on point. High heels (you didn’t even know we were still doing that during lockdown).
Scroll stopper.
She’s pushing a Bob stroller and you’re suddenly trying to do the math to justify how she looks so fit after only... what is it, 4, 5, 6 months?

Another child walks next to her, wearing an adorable pair of jeans and cowboy boots with pigtails full of perfectly spiral ringlets.
Her husband is just a step behind them, walking the family Golden Retriever (who is even taking this picture right now??). Somehow the light is hitting the entire family in such a way that they almost look like porcelain dolls with a suntan.
A dollop of ketchup flies across the room and smacks you on the cheek, jolting you out of your mind spiral and back into your living room. You’re not even sure how it happened, but you notice that you’ve finished off the entire plate of chicken nuggets. Your mind is racing with some of the darkest thoughts you’ve had in a while.
Why can’t I seem to lose this last 15 pounds?
Is there something wrong with my kids that they’re so out of control right now?
Does my husband even find me sexy anymore?
Part of you is envious of her, but another part of you is judging her, being hypercritical, and possibly even resentful.
She probably doesn’t even have a job and still has a nanny.

You’re not alone, mama. We live in a filtered world. Everyone’s greatest moments are captured (or staged) and shared on social media platforms for all to see.
We have makeup apps, touchup apps, and filters galore.
If spending 10 minutes on social media doesn’t cause some imposter syndrome or comparitis, I’m gonna need you to sign up to be a confidence coach in momUP.
But if this imagery is even remotely resonating with you right now, you don’t want to miss out on Mia Valdez’s (of the socialjoy collective) presentation inside our membership! Mia’s presentation is called Living Unfiltered in a Filtered World. She’ll share how moms can show up as their authentic selves on social media, how to develop the mindset to bust through imposter syndrome, and grow a business by leveraging these powers.
Want to know what to post, what not to post, and what being a mom in the digital age teaches us? Be one of the first members inside momUP to get this amazing and unique training [LINK]! Mia’s presentation alone is worth more than it costs to join!
And now that we’ve announced Mia’s training, it’s a good time to urge you not to wait to sign up for your membership because we’re only admitting the first 100 members at the founder’s rate.

Sorry, Jen, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
We’ll make it up to you though. You can lock in your founder’s rate for an entire year by joining before we launch and get two months’ membership on us!

We thought you’d like that!

P.S. There is nothing wrong with indulging in chicken nuggets from the couch. Nor is there anything wrong with feeling a moment of resentment toward that Instagram mama. This is a normal response when we are stressed and lacking confidence. But also keep in mind, she’s a mama in the real world just like you. And while that picture perfect moment was captured and plastered on social media, there’s a good chance her life isn’t perfect, her kids aren’t perfect, her husband isn’t perfect. Her dog probably is perfect though, but you can’t be mad at that.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
